Preparing for Your Kolkata Newborn Photoshoot: A Guide for Parents

To help us create the most beautiful and serene portraits, here is a simple guide for preparing for your session.

Keep Baby Awake: Try to keep your baby awake for an hour or two before the session. A bath and playtime are great ways to do this, ensuring they are sleepy and ready for their photoshoot.

Feed Right Before: A full tummy equals a happy baby. Please feed your baby just before you leave for the studio or right when we arrive for an in-home session.

Dress Loosely: Dress your baby in a loose-fitting sleeper or outfit that is easy to remove without disturbing them. This helps avoid marks on their delicate skin.

What to Bring: Pack extra milk, diapers, wipes, and a pacifier if your baby uses one. While we have everything else needed for the shoot, having these essentials on hand ensures a smooth session.

Terms, Conditions & Briefing

To ensure your photography session is a seamless, joyful, and well-organized experience, we’ve outlined a few key details about our process below. Please review these points before our session together.

Ideal Timing for Your Session: For those classic, sleepy newborn portraits, we recommend scheduling your photoshoot within the first 5 to 15 days after your baby’s arrival. This is when they are most flexible and sleepiest. If your baby is slightly older, we can still capture beautiful moments; we will simply adjust our workflow accordingly.

Securing Your Booking: All sessions must be booked in advance to reserve your dedicated date and time in our schedule. A non-refundable booking fee of ₹1,000 is required to confirm your slot. This amount will be credited and adjusted in your final payment.

Final Payment Details: The remaining balance for your selected package is due on the day of the photoshoot. We will clear the payment once our session concludes. We accept payments via GPay, Paytm, or NEFT for your convenience.

Session Participants for a Calm Environment: To ensure an intimate, focused, and safe environment for your newborn, our sessions are exclusively for parents and older siblings only. A calm and quiet atmosphere is essential for a successful and peaceful newborn photoshoot.

Accessing Your Raw Images: Once the final payment is cleared, we will share a private download link to your unedited, raw images. From this gallery, you can choose your favourite portraits for artistic editing. We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer to download these high-resolution files and advise you to create a backup to safeguard your precious memories.

Selecting Your Favourites for Editing: Please take your time to select your final set of images for us to edit. Once you have made your choices, kindly organize them and send the list of selected file names back to us.

Delivery of Your Artistically Edited Portraits: Your beautifully edited, high-resolution digital portraits will be delivered to you via a secure online gallery within 15-20 business days after we receive your final selections.

Photo Album & Print Delivery: If your package includes a photo album or other print products, please allow for a delivery window of 20-25 business days after the final edited images are approved. This timeframe accounts for professional printing, binding, and quality checks.
