Instead of putting everyone in the same white shirt and jeans, select a group of 2-4 complementary colors and have everyone wear different pieces within that palette. Please do not worry! This is our specialty. As an experienced kids photographer, we never expect children to sit still and pose. Our sessions are designed as playtime. We use fun prompts and games to keep them engaged, and our approach is built on patience. Often, the most beautiful and candid moments happen when you think things are the most chaotic!
For that beautiful, soft, and dreamy look, we almost always recommend scheduling your outdoor family photography during the “golden hour.” This is the period roughly one hour after sunrise or one hour before sunset. The light is incredibly flattering and creates a magical atmosphere for your family portraits.
Our standard family photoshoot typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives everyone enough time to relax and be themselves, allowing us to capture a wide variety of authentic moments without the little ones getting tired. We work efficiently while never rushing the process.
Absolutely! We love capturing multi-generational family portraits. Including grandparents is a wonderful way to create a truly priceless keepsake. Please contact us when booking to discuss an extended family group photo session, as we may recommend a slightly longer session to ensure we capture all the important group combinations.
